Limited Edition Maya Cushion Cover - Design 14

This cushion cover is part of our January 2024 Limited Edition Collection, which consists of 20 pieces, each with their own unique design.

We provided our weavers with the yarns and materials and they do their magic on the backsrap loom to create the beatiful textiles! For this limited collection, we decided to mix things up a bit and also get our online community involved. We launched a poll on instagram and you helped us choose our base color - a sea salt blue (all pillows have the same base colour, but photos differ slightly due to lighting of the images).

All cushion covers are inspired by the symbolds of the Maya calendar, while also incorporating traditional techniques and motifs from the unique regions of their weavers. With its unique design, each pillow helps preserve the cultural and textile traditions of the different regions for years to come. As this is a limited edition, we only have a very limited quantity of each design and they are truly one of a kind! All proceeds from online purchases go directly to the wages of our weavers.
